Samoa Airways, a foreign air carrier, has been granted another 6-month cabotage exemption by the US Department of Transportation allowing it to continue to service the Tutuila - Ofu route. If you are unfamiliar with the struggles and challenges of travel to and from Ofu and have never heard of the term cabotage, don't worry. Just know that if your travel plans to Ofu are set to take place between now and February 2020, you should be ok!
With that said, Ofu remains one of the hardest-to-get-to destinations in all of the US and truth be told, is part of its appeal.
